They have a wonderful staff and a nice environment. They also have a kid's play area that is stocked with toys and is easy to keep an eye on while you shop. Nice selection of both novelty yarn and more basic stuff. They also carry needlepoint as well as stuff for knitting and crochet. Easy free parking too.

I last went to the Yarn Gallery for a winter sale. They celebrated by having wine and cheese for the customers and were very friendly.

I like that they have a lot of Patons yarns that I can't find in other stores. As the previous poster said, there were a lot of basics, which are nicer than the big box stores but less expensive than high end stores.

This store is one of my favorites, but I rarely ever get to it. They have a fantastic selection and probably the biggest selection of Noro in the area. Lots of Cascade yarns as well. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.

I went in to the store with my husband who, when entered was greeted by smiles by the red-haired woman who works there, but as soon as she saw me behind him, she had a repulsed look on her face. I have not been back since. Every other aspect of the store is wonderful. I just wish she was not there.
