Poor selection of yarns. No high end yarns at all. Mainly a needlepoint shop with mostly Jewish themed projects. Kind of a grouchy old man running the shop. Maybe he was just having a bad day. I wouldn't go back again.

Yarn Crafters was my first experience in a LYS. I went in 2 years ago to get yarn for a baby blanket I wanted to knit for my cousin. They were very helpful at guiding me towards what I needed. I felt such warmth and comfort from the store owners Natalie and Ernie. I wound up signing up for 3 knitting lessons with Natalie. Natalie is the knitter/crocheter and Ernie is the framer. I agree with NeedleNoggin that they have a limited selection of yarn and the stop is more geared towards needlepoint, they are a very nice couple that caters to their clientele. They carry Peter Pan which I love to use for baby projects because it is washable, but yet very soft and beautiful colors. I've also gotten Plymouth Aran there as well.
I would recommend this shop for the newer knitter or crocheter that needs guidance in their projects and their purchases.
And if Ernie was a grouchy old man that day, he must have been having a bad day, because he without a doubt the epitome of funny friendly old man rather than grouchy old man.
