This is a very cute and upscale yarn shop. It's beautiful inside. As far as selection, they have your basics in yarn - wool, merino, mohair all in various weights - but nothing fun or interesting. The needle selection was really limited; I actually didn't see any needles for sale, but I didn't ask either. They're also a bit pricey. On the bright side, the staff was helpful, and they have a lot of large samples.

LOVED this place. It's a cozy, welcoming store with a pretty good selection, with some nice variety in the higher-end yarns such as Artfibers or Habu. The store is a little pressed for space, as I was told by one of the clerks - the needles for sale hang on the wall in the bathroom! Make sure to check the bargain bin in the back.

Nice yarns but I didn't see any prices on them at the time I was there.

This is a pretty, if small, shop. They have a great selection of buttons and nice yarn. But a couple of times when I've gone in I've gotten some attitude from the people behind the counter. Someone made a rather snotty comment about a kid's sweater that a friend had made and was looking for buttons for. The yarn was an acrylic and not from Woolworks and it was made plain to us that it really wasn't worthy of their buttons. Unpleasant. Other times I've gone in and they've been very pleasant.

They do have needles, but they are in the back, in a tiny space that probably used to be a bathroom or something. They have lots of Addis and some Clovers, I didn't see anything else but didn't look. Addi Turbos and Addi Laces.
They have updated their yarn selection to include some novelty yarns.
The bargain bin has moved to the front.
I definitely got plenty of attitude when I went in. I wanted the long 12-inch DPNs used for ganseys, which they apparently don't sell: they told me they don't exist. Nowhere. Ever.
I decided to settle for a 40" circular or so. "What are you making?" "A heavily cabled gansey." "For who?" I pointed to my 44" in diameter husband. "Oh, you'll need a 32" for that." "But it's cabled. I want the 40" so it holds all the stitches." "No, it'll be too wide. Get the 40"." "I like making large projects. I don't mind magic-looping it." "You need the 32"." I gave in and got the 32"... even though a 16" wasn't wide enough to hold the stitches for my 33" self for a plain sweater. Of course, now my stitches keep trying to burst off the needle. *sigh*
