I dislike this place... not because of the yarn (nice selection)... not because of the space (although it's small)... but because of the staff (elitist). I've witness on separate occasions the staffing being very rude and dismissive of costumers who have come into the shop. It's the kind of place that you are afraid to ask questions of the staff because you get the impression that you're interrupting them. I've been there in the day and I've been there at night, and it's still the same. I'll go there only if there is no other place I can turn to in an emergency!

I visited a variety of yarn stores while visiting Boston and this was, by far, my favorite. The store was cozy, the selection was fabulous and the staff was friendly and helpful. They offered plenty of informmation on their products and patterns with no pressure to make a huge purchase. I will definitely return the next time I am in the area and will visit them on line in the meantime.

Funny I have had really great shopping times here. They were nice and helpful, the lady is a little stiff bu the man who works there is lovely. I have been in just to look plenty and they have always been kind. They have also been great to my husband who has been sent there on missions of mercy on a few occasions. They answered his questions quickly and told him where to get the things they did not have.

I have been in several times and might have gotten mediocre service once and otherwise got no service at all. I even had to interrupt after waiting at the register for a long time to purchase needles. The staff doesn't seem interested in helping customers. They have good yarn but you're on your own to select it. I only go here as a last resort.
