Beautiful little shop in a quaint town. You can learn all things fiber here... from processing the raw animal fleece to spinning, knitting, crochet and weaving. They even have their own resident Angora Bunny, Mr. Bean! Small seating "knitting circle" in the back of the store around a wood burning stove. Owners Penny & Rob are very informative and welcoming.

While I have not visited the brick-and-mortar store of this business, I encountered them at the 2009 Midwest Fiber and Folk festival and was sorely disappointed by the treatment my friends and I received at the hands of Rob Cetner, one of the owners.

He was all friendliness and full of helpful information as my friend sat down to try a few of the wheels, but changed his tone when he saw (about ten minutes later) that she was using a bit (probably about three inches of commercial top, maybe 0.1oz) of their $2-an-ounce basic Ashland Bay fiber- the cheapest she could find. "You can't use that! That's our stock!" he admonished her, and when she explained that one of the employees had told her to use any fiber but the buffalo just a moment before, he coldly stated, "I think you've spun enough." and glared at all of us until we left the booth.

Congratulations, Mr. Cetner, your concern for a tuft of overpriced fiber has lost you three customers.
