The Brazos Spinners & Weavers Guild is hosting our OPEN HOUSE & SPIN IN at the Arts Council of Brazos Valley Arts Center on Dartmouth St, College Station. January 10, 2009 from 10 am to 2 pm. We will be having displays of handwoven textiles, handspun yarns, tapestries, and felted pieces and demonstrations of handspinning and handweaving. This is free and open to the public. Would you please let your customers know about this event. Would it be possible to display a flyer advertising this event in your store? Thanks for your help. I had such a great time at this wonderful store. The atmosphere was very inviting and I just loved the mix of yarn , fiber and spinning needs. I am very new to spinning, but just loved looking at the wheels and fiber. I felt right at home and even sat down and knitted for awhile. If you are in the area, you have to go by, visit, and sit and knit or spin for awhile. I will be going back for the October Spin In.

PS For the knitters with golfing partners, there is a great golf course in the area so you could be dropped off at WC's the your golfer can go and have fun too.
