If it were possible to give this store a negative rating I would. The people here are extremely unfriendly. Warning, do not enter store to attempt to find even the simplest of supplies!

I stopped her for an hour on a road trip from the Bay Area to LA. It ended up being the highlight of my vacation. The friendly couple who owned the shop showed me exciting new spindles and lovely fiber. I was very new to spinning at the time and the stop filled me with enthusiasm and inspiration. And their yarn selection was great. I bought some undyed alpaca that has been a dream to knit. The only draw back I had was the horrendo Solvang parking (I went on a summer weekend). Overall, I found this store to be folksy and welcoming. It is clearly run by people who love what they do.

I gave this store all 5's - but it doesn't appear to be saving my rating. Hmmm....

Great shop! The owners are very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. In addition to the yarn, fiber, spindles, & wheels, VS&W has an incredible selection of books.
