This knit shop has everything! It is amazing and overwhelming. But if you get woozy, you can look for Velona and she will help you out. The shelves are stacked to the ceiling. And every pattern book ever is there. Velona is really helpful with figuring out patterns and yarn types too, as long as you purchase yarn from her shop.

Hard to find, but keep looking, it's worth it! I bought my first sweater yarn here with much help from Velona and her husband. That was 18 years ago! Must ask for specific things as it really is stacked to the ceiling. Seems disorganized but some how works.

Love, love, LOVE this shop.
Best customer service which makes it worth the drive/traffic. Rose (head lady in charge) is always very social, spending lots of time with me helping me find yarn for my projects, and chatting with my significant other as he sits at the table in complete boredom while I dig through EVERY SINGLE bin of yarn in the store. And when you check the place out, you will know this is more than a 3 hr routine. There is yarn galore (all types and price ranges) in this store as well as a great selection of wood knitting needles and crochet hooks. There is also an extensive book/magazine/pamphlet section, and a wall of any and every accessory you will need for any project.

Rose and Chris are the best. They have the most incredible book / magazine selection, the best yarn selection and prices. It is a treasure chest, don't get frustrated , it looks unorganized at first , but has the most yarn of any shop around.
They have a good variety of high end to middle of the road yarns, but no junk! They are very good about stocking the newest patterns and magazines.
Enjoy... lots of classes also!

I went into Velona's twice. Once to purchase a yarn, once to return it. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I wouldn't darken her door if she was the last knitshop in California.
I have since become a pretty good knitter and have spent thousands of dollars on yarn - in Riverside, about 30 miles from my home.
No, I had to laugh out loud when I heard about her "customer service". Only customer service when you are purchasing.
Also, it's impossible to find anything there - it IS stacked to the ceiling. I can't imagine how many mice live there.
NEVER AGAIN
