This is by far the best yarn store in Vancouver!

I think this business is jerky. I told them I was a medium to novice knitter, and they were completely unhelpful when they sold me needles that were too short and my stitches kept falling off. Basically, they said well buy some longer needles. This is after I spent $50 in their store to make a friggin baby hat, so I can learn. Do get me wrong the salesperson who helped me was really nice. It was the person at Edgemont who was so unhelpful and kind of rude. She told me that they don't take needles back, no one does. Ya, thanks, it would have been helpful to know this when I bought them....like I said I'm just learning, why would I know that this is a standard policy. So now I have completely useless needles 5.0 mm 5 inches if anyone wants them feel free to email me, and still can't make the project I spent $50 dollars on. They are really unwise because they could have made a lifetime customer out of me, now I will be tell everyone I know not to shop there and to instead go to Plum Project in Deep Cove, who, when I called her, sent me video links to solve my problem on my extra long circular needles instead of using it as an opportunity to make a buck and sell me some more needles. Sorry Urban Yarns you guys are jerks!

I love this store! Great selection of high end yarns and the inventory is always changing. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and it is a very calming place to sit and knit.
