I have only been here once, about a year ago, so I don't know if their yarn selection has changed any. When I was here, they mostly had super-bulky yarns. The person working there considered worsted-weight to be a very fine (small) gauge. They didn't have any yarns that were DK or finer.

I'm a regular customer...live two blocks away. VERY knowlegable a friendly staff, good selection of yarns, Tasteful colours..(I'd like more brights)..full range of weights..and arranged by size/guage..so it's easy to find substitutes.

i can't say enough awesome things about this shop. friendly staff, very clearly laid out, neat, well organized, spacious enough to maneuver a stroller through, and very crochet-friendly. :) lots of hard-to-find back issues of magazines. excellent selection of yarn and the employees aren't afraid to agree with you when you say "OMG that's expensive!", as i did about a cashmere/silk blend with sequins and beads....
