The Unraveled Sheep is a great place to drop in and knit with a group.

A Unraveled Sheep (their grammar error, not mine) is possibly the friendliest yarn store I have ever entered. They have snacks and welcome everyone to partake. They have couches and a table to sit at and knit. The employees are always welcoming and open, readily willing to chat and laugh. It's a marvelous place and I always try to take what chance I can to visit.

What a great little shop!!! They are so nice to newcomers and the selection is fantastic. Need help, this is the place to find expert advice and instruction.

Friendly, and welcoming to an out-of-towner. Thursday night is open knit night--very nice group.
Excellent yarn selection. Good sale yarns.
A definite place to enhance the stash.

Over a year ago, while visiting Salt Lake City,I stopped in to knit at Unraveled Sheep. Verla, guided me along with my fingerless glove project. She found an easy pattern for me. She even cast the yarn onto the tiny cable needle for me. It was great. Once back in Michigan, I completed one glove but never did finish the other. What I really need is an Unraveled Sheep in my little town. Sandy, Utah is fortunate to have such a quality knit shop, run be a couple of very talented ladies.

Unraveled Sheep has been really helpful with my first project... a blanket for the baby we are expecting in March. I learned how to cast on standing by the cash register! Thanks for being such a great little shop. Look forward to making at least one more visit before we have to leave Sandy, Utah for home...

Enjoyed the customers, the service BUT the shop was filthy and the bathroom had not been cleaned in monthes. When I went to purchase my items the counter was full of crap. I barely knew where to put my items. Dust everywhere. Would not recommend the shop to anyone with allergies or enjoy a clean environment.
