By far the best store in Vancouver. The store has fantastic variety and Lisa can talk you through most knitting crises. Don't be afraid to ask questions and tell her what you need. Very casual, hands-off approach that really grows on you.

I found the shop kind of drab. The selection is okay but patchy. The biggest turn off is all the political talk.

Great store! Good selection and prices. Friendly atmosphere and usually a group of knitters around a table where anyone is welcome. Owner very helpful with selections and questions. Unlike the review by styx, I find the "political talk" refreshing -- all opinions are aired and respectful discussions ensue in a non-threatening manner.

Dark, messy and unfriendly. When I've visited I've felt that I'm unwelcome due to the political table mentioned above. I was even asked once to sign a petition by the owner when all I wanted was to shop for yarn. This made me very uncomfortable. In the handful of times I've been in this shop I rarely come out with anything.
