Incredible yarn store! I wish I lived close enough to call it my LYS, because it's just perfect. The atmosphere is great, friendly without being pushy or overbearing. The location is wonderful, well-lit with sunlight and beautiful wood floors. Christine (the owner, I'm guessing) was incredibly helpful and fun to talk with. They have all kinds of classes, and a really great selection of yarns. Prices are a little high, but still reasonable, especially the sale and clearance section near the back. I picked up two to-die-for skeins for Colinette's SilkyChic for a mere $15 apiece!

Great store and selection. The staff is very friendly and is always willing to help you. It is one of my favorite LYS.

This is one of the best yarn stores I have been to. Selection is great, the staff is helpful, and the examples that are sitting around are truly inspiring. They are the ones who turned me on to ravelry.com ... try it if you haven't. Oh yes, another plus, when my husband went in there last October to look for suggestions for a birthday present for me, they sold him an incredible and yet practical array of yarns, winning him lots of points in my book. I found Unraveled to be cold and very un-friendly. I have gone in there and the aditude of the people who work there are unplesent. And if you are not whearing you dimonds and and good clothing be careful. Some of us like me can only come in when I got off of work. I also have been scoffed at by the employees. I would not recomend this store to anyone. Take a drive into pasadena. There are 2 shops I recomend. One on Walnut and the other on Mission in So Pas.

With my only knitting experience being a basic garter stitch scarf I wanted to take a real knitting class. The free knitting sessions at Unraveled are given by a patient, experienced knitter who is very encouraging. Comfortable atmosphere and helpful staff.

This is the best yarn shop in the area! Great selection, great prices, nice people. It's welcoming, you can just come and sit and knit.
