I love Twisted Yarns. The staff is very helpful, and they have an incredible selection of yarn. Can we say BLUE HERON?? Gorgeous.

My favorite in the Houston area - totally worth the drive no matter what part of town you're in! I've made friends among the staff, who always recognize me and remember that I'm sheep-free. Plus, most of their non-animal yarns are in one area. Their selection of Claudia lace silk is to die for!

This is my fave in the greater Houston area. It is run like a business, but with all the personal touches a knitter could "yarn" for. Regular classes, newsletter, always has candy available and a place to sit, knit and chat. And, I must add this shop has very special clientele. Always something going on, annual retreats, knit-alongs, sales, special events! I could not ask for more.

I really enjoyed my trip to this shop.
My cousin lives in this area so I always visit the LYS whenever I travel.
The staff was really nice and left me to browse in peace, but was available for any questions I had.
It was really hard to decide, but I finally picked up some Harmony, needles and a shawl pattern.
I hope I can make it back - this location was great!

Very nice selection of yarns and spinning supplies. I have taken two classes there (socks101 and Drop Spindle). Always lots going on in the shop, sitting area and class area. Oh yeah, and chocolate! Must visit this shop!

I was visiting my folks in the area and found the yarn store, finally. (Finding anything in the area was difficult, several times.) I needed a couple of skeins of yarn for a baby sweater and I found a wide variety of yarns. I settled on a few skeins and also asked for and was helped to get a circular needle I needed for my traveling knit project.
