If you haven't been at 3 Kittens recently because of claustrophobia, the store has been tidied up. More space to breathe as you browse and feel.

The store has definitely been straightened up and around. However, I miss the old "yarn jumping off of shelves" look and feel. I used to take my young niece and nephew and we never got dirty looks as we felt our way around. It's just not the same for me.

Overwhelming selection -- don't go in without a project or product in mind.
Wonderful staff -- so friendly and eager to help you feel at home.

I miss the old shop. This new shop is beautiful but seems smaller and more crowded with less selection. The location is very nice though and love being able to grab lunch at a nearby shop when I am there. Janine and Rachel are always helpful and never condescending.

I really enjoyed the Three Kittens, but did find it overwhelming. The high ceilings make the place a little less homey, but their selection is so unbelievable that I wasn't too concerned about it. They had a really great selection of Alpaca, in all weights, and the only selection of Artyarn I've yet come across in the Twin Cities.
