I was surprised how many yarns were inside what I thought was a small shop. It didn't feel crowded at all, though, and they were so sweet helping me pick out my first sock yarn. I visited on vacation.

I'd heard nice things about this shop from locals, so when I was in the area I popped in. They do have a lovely selection. But I walked out without buying anything because I felt they truly didn't need my money. No matter where I was in the shop I was in the employees way, and they weren't happy about it. Apparently whatever they were doing was so important that it couldn't wait a few minutes for me to make my selection. No one even bothered to ask if I was looking for something in particular. Next time I'm in the area I'll make the drive to Muscatine instead.

Went to this shop for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The physical space is tiny, but the selection is fantastic, and the employee tending the store was friendly and helpful, but not overpowering (she didn't follow me all over the store asking me if I wanted something, which I hate!). She made fantastic conversation with me, kept my husband (who does NOT knit) entertained while I browsed, and was just generally awesome. We're in the Quad Cities once or twice a year, and this was immediately moved to "favorites" on our GPS. Prices, service and selection were all simply wonderful. Will be going back when we visit next time for sure!

I had a very happy visit here recently. I went in with the idea that I would buy a certain kind of yarn in a certain color. That wasn't a good way to go; I think the shop is too small to have just what I imagine. But when I sat down and looked at what was actually there, there was lots of lovely yarn of many different colors and fibers. (I bought the most beautiful stuff in the store!) The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, and relaxed in their manner. I will go here again if in the area.

Went to this shop while on vacation. Disappointed in the lack of service - the staff sidestepped me and went about their business without speaking to me. I felt like I was intruding on their day and space. The Quad Cities could really do with another yarn shop for competition and service.

I went to this shop while visiting family and found the staff quite friendly and willing to help, but almost no yarn in stock.
Seriously - many literally bare shelves. You could tell from what was left that the goods were quality yarn, but I didn't buy a thing because there was so little to choose from.
