I was disappointed by this shop. Seemed to have not a terrible selection, as far as quantity. Carries Louisa Harding yarn. But the taste of the owner and my taste don't converge. You might like it. And there are no other shops in the area, so I'm glad it's there.

This is not a large shop and it is run on a shoe string but it has the basics and quite a lot more. Many yarn shops have gone out of business in the Rochester area in the last year so it is a pleasure to have this shop on a main street in our town. If you want these convenient specialty shops in town you have to shop there to keep them in business--not on-line!

This is a gem of a shop, very spacious and welcoming with a large table you can plop down on and spend some time with your knit/crochet project. The selection is wide and varied, and the owner knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The location on the elegant main street in Geneva is easy to find with lots of street parking nearby. I highly recommend this Finger Lakes shop.

As of June 2009, the shop has moved to the other (west) side of Exchange St. It it almost exactly across the street from the old location, and has a brand new awning with "Yarn Shop" in big letters, so just follow the directions to the old location, and look across the street for the awning. Sorry I can't provide the precise street address or hours.

I visited this store recently and had an unpleasant experience. The salesperson was very rude and unhelpful. I will definitely never go back or recommend this shop to any other knitter.

I work in Patchwork Plus Quilt and Yarn store in Marcellus NY - recently a customer of yours visited our shop and was wearing a lovely Aran Sweater that she made in a class in your store.
