Chaotic! Overwhelming! Overstuffed! F'ING LOVED IT!

You could spend hours (maybe even days) working your way through this store. It's a SMALL space for so much yarn, but the variety, both domestic and import, is PHENOMENAL. The sale section of the shop was the "richest" I've ever seen, e.g. Rowan, Blue Sky and other nice brands (not just fun fur). The prices throughout the store were very reasonable and one thing that really impressed me was the variety of brands. They carried the "meat & potatoes" felting yarns and the "fancy pants" types as well. Furthermore, the store didn't confine itself to just major companies or importers; they carry small companies like Mountain Colors and Blue Sky Alpaca. Their collection of peripheral equipment was very impressive too, e.g. stitch markers, buttons, needles, notions, toys.

Customer Service: 100%. Great yarn crawl spot, but you need to have time on your side to absorb it all aka don't have your non-knitting, muggle sister drive you to the store. She may decide to wait in the car while you shop, thus limiting your time, like mine did. :)

This shop is convenient to where I live, but I always have difficulty finding specific yarns without staff assistance. The staff is friendly enough and they seem to know where to find items. The store a bit over-stuffed for such a small space, making browsing less fun. Selection is decent, but again I am never quite sure what brands I'll find due to the visual chaos. There is only one evening per week that the shop is open after 5 which makes it harder for me to shop regularly, since I work weekdays and I'm usually busy on Saturdays.

The lady at the counter was very friendly but the shop appearance needs organization. There were isles that were covered with yarn, but it was difficult to find a brand or type that I was looking for. At one point while I was winding my way around i ened up in the office area which didn't appear any different form the rest of the store- everything was just covered with yarn.

I didn't find anyone particularly friendly. There was only 1 staff member who was actually helpful...but I didn't feel she was friendly. They have nice yarn, but not a large selection. It's a very small store. I am not anxious to shop there again, but I would stop in to see what's there when I'm in Annapolis again.

The shop itself can seem disorganized, but the staff and customers are incredibly friendly and very helpful, and the prices are good. Lots of patterns and a very good variety of yarn. Also supplies for crewelwork, cross-stitch, and other needle crafts.
