This place has a large selection of yarns at good prices. I like it because it has a bit of everything when it comes to yarn from sock yarns to bulky weight yarns and a variety of fiber types. Just a warning when you go their for the first time, there is no entrance from Route 31, you have to turn onto Tree Farm Rd. I drove right by it the first time because I thought there would be an entrance from the main highway.

I have been to Woolly Lamb a couple times. The yarn selection is great and so are the people who work there.

Big store, large selection, some of their prices have been a little high. Check out their sale table, they've had some great yarns on sale for great prices. If you sign up in the store to be on their mailing list they will send you a coupon for use during your birthday month. They have good customer service - when I wanted a color of yarn they did not have in stock, they ordered it for me. It's a little far from me, but I have gone out of my way to shop there several times, and will continue to shop there.
For those who are into other crafts as well: in the same plaza there is a bead shop and a quilting shop (at the time of this review) that I hear are pretty good.

I was at a seminar in Pennington and had always wanted to go to this shop. How could I resist being so close now? Problem was that I had no money and no credit cards with me that day. When I walked into the store, it had a number of shoppers and knitters inside. A salesperson greeted me and asked me if I needed help. I told her that unfortunately I had no money that day so I was basically in there torturing myself and that it was my first visit. She asked me if I wanted to be on their e-mail list and receive a coupon for my birthday. Of course! They allowed me to wander around the store feeling the fiber and never made me feel uncomfortable for browsing. While wandering, I could hear that the staff was very helpful and knew their stuff. I would definitely shop there.

I only gave it 3 stars for selection because they had practically no sock yarn (6 balls), and they didn't have the needles I was looking for. (Boo.)
The store itself is laid out well, and items are well marked. (I love that!)
They also carry needllepoint supplies, and had a basket on the table just for donations of yarn to a local church.
