This is a fairly decent store with some nice selection. Good selection of Fleece Artist, from what I can remember (it's been a few months). The staff are sort of friendly -- I got the sense that they are more used to catering to, ahem, *older* knitters. Not my favourite yarn store, but not bad either.

This is my LYS. I find the staff friendly, but not over-bearing. They now offer some knitted items for sale, and have a good selection of needles with some Lantern Moon products. It's a bright, open and inviting store. Wish they opened later in the evenings & on Sundays.

I went there for the first time today. They have a good selections of yarns. There was a good sale so I got enough yarn for the next 4 projects! The staff were friendly and helpful, but not over-bearing. Even though the location is not very close to me, I will definitly go again.

I have bought some ergonic cotton last fall and I found your store very interesting. I would like to know if I could order the following yarn by email from your store.
This pattern is from the recent Vogueknitting magazine, Spring/Summer 2009.
On page 73, the look of the sweater.
On page 105, the pattern.
I would need 10 1.4oz/40g hanks (108yd/99m) of Berroco, Inc. Mica (cotton/silk/nylon/linen). I would prefer orange color if possible.
and
2 .4oz/10g balls (each approx. 60yd/55m) of Berroco, Inc. Mirror FX(polyester) in #9002 silver/winter ( I would prefer silver/blue) if possible
Please email me to advise me further of this request. Thank you.

I recently, had a very unpleaseant experience at this store...my local yarn store. I purchased some yarn which when I had finished my garment , and washed (as per mfg. inst) bled like crazy, the dark brown yarn ran into the cream border. I haven't seen this in yarn for YEARS! I phoned the store and was told they couldn't help me. I had to contact the mfg. directly..I was stunned..I pointed out I didn't buy this directly from the manufacturer ..I bought it from them, paid retail price..and had an expection that they would have some knowledge and responsibility with regard to the product they sold. They flat out refused to help showed little interest in the problem. so the lesson is ..if you just want to buy yarn with "no strings or expertise" attached you can save yourself a lot of money by going to Michaels or Walmart..if you want a quality yarn from an informed responisble supplier..don 't shop here. I basically had to spend my time ,doing what I consider to be their job, by trouble shooting wth their supplier over a problem yarn they sold me!!! There are plenty of alternatives for purchasing higher quality yarn from suppliers who stand by their products. This store wasted my time and money .they just lost this customer.
