Very helpful employees. The yarn section grows every year, and they carry a good variety of good yarns.

Very rude employees. They treated me like I was going to steal all the Addi Turbos. Crap yarn selection. Avoid if you can!

This store has vastly improved recently. I used to shop there frequently because it was the closest LYS to my house, but stopped going because the selection was always the same and I had experienced some rudeness from the employees.
Well, they have made a BIG turnaround. Dropped in the other day because I was right there and WOW! Their yarn selection has had a complete turnover and they now have some really yummy yarns. Their prices have always been good. The two women with whom I spoke (who I had never seen in there before) were re-setting the yarn while I was in and made a big effort to find things for me. I could tell that they were very proud and excited that they were bringing in so many new brands and styles of yarn.
I'm waiting to see if their other inventory changes. Their needle selection has never been great, but they were the only store in town carrying the Addi Clicks when they first came out.
I will definitely go back now that so much has improved.

Revising my revised opinion. I must have had a one time fluke experience. Have since been in this store and my exasperation grows. The staff seems to know nothing about what they are selling. They can't make proper yarn recommendations, none of them seem to knit or crochet, and they basically refuse to wind yarn. I recently was informed that the owner does not knit or crochet. I have stopped sending my students to this store (I give them a list of LYS in the area) for fear they will walk away with expensive wool for washcloths as one newbie knitter almost did the day I was last in the store....before I jumped in to show her the cotton yarn.
One positive is that they have seriously improved their yarn selection. The needle selection is just poor at best. If you know what you want and are familiar with fibers, then you might find something you like...just don't count on getting any customer service.
