The owner of this store is very personable. She takes the time to show you around and answer your questions. A very warm and inviting shop. I definitely recommend it. I wish it were open later during the work week so I could get over there more often.
They also have Thursday night PJ and Purl events, I think twice a month and those days they are open until 8pm.

Fabulous shop with willing people when one needs help. Beautiful yarns, many sample knits. Four of us hit them at once, and they waited on us, plus many more. Great shop...we drove from AR and hit all yarn shops we could in Dallas. This was the best one of all. Rebecca

I took a class August 28, 2008 and have now knitted two scarves with fringe and working on my third. As soon as I teach my husband to be more self-sufficient, I can knit more frequently!!! The owner and employees are extremely nice and helpful. The yarns are beautiful. Some people just come in to knit, chat and laugh! At age seventy-one, I had no idea that I would be able to learn something new and enjoy it so much. Thanks to The Shabby Sheep (the best yarn shop ever), I'm happier than I've ever been! I always look forward to visiting this shop when I'm in Dallas. The staff and owner are so friendly, knowledgable and helpful. They're able to suggest alternate yarns for patterns or help you with a project - and they're always curious about your latest project, no matter where you bought the yarn. The store itself is small and cozy and has a great selection for it's size. I'd highly recommend it. If you're from out-of-town, it's in a great area with lots of shops and local dining options.

The owner and her staff are great. I feel very welcome when I go to the store. There is a great selection of yarns. She has some fabulous sales. I love going into the store. I wish she had longer operating hours because it is hard for me to get to the shop before it closes during the week.

Such a wonderful shop! What most knitters are looking for in a LYS. Warm and welcoming, great selection of yarns, a place to sit and chat if you want, the nicest and most helpful owners, tools and patterns galore. If you are a sock or lace knitter, this is your place. Charming!

Love the Shabby Sheep . Wonderful experience ,great stuff, absolutely wonderful staff.
I prefer to crochet and no one tried to make me feel bad or convince me to try knitting. They were very helpful when my sister and I were lost. She kept calling the store. One of the ladies was outside waving her green scarf in front of the shop for us. Awesome , one of my fav places......
