This place is fantastic. Julie, the owner, is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help (plus she writes an awesome blog!). The selection is *large* -- great selection of the majors (rowan, debbie bliss, noro, fleece artist), staples (brown sheep, etc.) and some brilliant lace & sock yarns (lorna's laces, noro, mountain colours). This store is a trek from Toronto (about 45 mins-1 hour) but definitely worth the trip.

I can only attest the mail order service, which is excellent.
1) Ordered on Monday
2) Shipped on Tuesday
3) Received on Wednesday (OK only to Toronto)
Yarn shipped inside a plastic bag.
I would have preferred a non-expedited mail option in Canada, but then again I didn't want to wait for the yarn.
No one in Toronto had the yarn I needed to finish a project, but Needle Emporium did!

I love this shop. Great selection and Julie and her staff are fabulous. Friendly, and very helpful. I agree this shop is worth the 45 minute drive.
