This is an OLD shop that's gone through several ownerships, but always stayed in the same location with the same great selection. (My mom used to bring me here when a friend of hers owned it, when I was a toddler...and I'm 38 now.) Staff are friendly and helpful. Great selection of high-quality novelty yarns in addition to lots of natural fibers. No attached cafe--we are spoiled in the Madison area with the knit shop/cafes--but it is right across the street from a Victor Allen's Coffee. The fun retail shops in the area make for a lovely afternoon of shopping.
