While at first glance, this isn't a "fun" (read: modern and skewed to the age 20-35 crowd) store to shop in, they have nice yarns and a great stock in the back. When you walk to the Plymouth Encore wall, they hand you the color card and tell you they have every color, they just can't fit them all on the shelves. They also carry Lorna's Laces handpainted sock yarn and have a good selection of needles. The owners are really nice, too.

I agree with the last person's review. They are friendly there, but the store needs a little more updated visual appeal. A little spice with color and more obvious organization of yarns.

This store has a great selection but I think is expensive,I also think they are a little pushy, I like to browse till something catches my eye. When you say you want to look around, they leave you alone. They are very helpful when you have a question. I like that it is close to where I work and I can go there at lunch time and they have good sales sometimes.

All earlier reviews are on the spot. I was visiting, thought it was a bit "out of fashion" at first, but did buy a lot at a great sale-price, then I found more, and more... Friendly - yes, but hang-out no. They owners seems very knowledgable and takes a lot of time to show and tell if you are in trouble (hey I listned to them ;-) so this shop I would greatly recommend for beginners, if you are dead stuck on something, or just feel damn lonely.. who are not preoccupied with fashion, but just want to learn the tricks of the trade. Patterns will soon be in fashion again (they were definitely OLD!)
