This is the best little yarn shop in Los Angeles! Fantastic selection of fibers, from hand dyes to classic solids. Here you will find a helpful staff, always ready to lend a helping hand with a smile and converse with you while you work away on your own projects. Weekly classes, new items stocked regularly, special orders, the newest books and more. I'm not just a customer, I am a fan.

Not my favorite shop by any means - the owner has a major attitude and unless you have hundreds to spend don't expect much help. I buy a lot of yarn (elsewhere) - but will never set foot in this store again after the bad experiences I have had there...

Wow. Have to dispute the last comment. I have only had the nicest and kindest help from everyone including Liz, the owner. This store even helps you with projects you have already started from another store and always encourages you to come in for help no matter what. I have never had that kind of help anywhere else-they have great cupcakes on Saturdays!

The atmosphere in this beautiful little shop is warm and welcoming. Liz, the owner, has a wonderful eye, stocking her shelves with exquisite looking and feeling fibers. All the best yarns and accessories can be found at The Knitter's Studio. And, Liz and her staff are extremely helpful: assisting with current projects, suggesting yarns for that must-cast-on knit, or tracking down that one skein you have to have to finish a special project. I have not found a yarn store that compares to The Knitter's Studio. It is in a class by itself.

This is by far my favorite Yarn Store in Los Angeles. What do I like about it? The yarn, the yarn, the yarn - the selection is wonderful, and the way it is arranged on the beautiful shelves by color, makes it a pleasure to just walk in the door. I have spent many many hours sitting at their big table knitting away, and meeting new people and other customer-friends there who do the same. It's very friendly, inviting, calming, and I have found the best knitting help and friendly expertise that I have not found anywhere else. Come knit with us!

My journey back to knitting was interrupted when the store I used to go to closed. But then I discovered The Knitter's Studio, and I found myself a home away from home. Liz, who owns the store, is wonderful. She has helped me not only with projects but also as a sounding board to other issues happening in my life. I am grateful for friendly people I encounter there and the excellent books and yarn available to push me to stretch my knitting muscles.

I learned how to knit thanks to Liz the owner, he was patient enough to help me with my projects, she is a wonderful person and all the people that work there are very helpful. The store has all the yarns by variety in color which I think it is sooo beautiful. Please check it out I go there for meditation on knitting...

the Knitters Studio is an awesome place.When i call , she knows me and notices that its me all the time. Liz, the owner is the nicest person. she taught me how to cast on and off, the seed stitch etc. All their yarn is OHHHH soooooo beautiful. If your looking for a fab knitting store, this place is the place!
