Awesome new store location and great service. Happy to sit down and help with problems.

I have spent a lot of money at this store and have gone in several times over the past 2 years. The new location is really fabulous, but the owner is cold and kind of mean. I have felt very unwelcome since the first time I went in there when the only thing she said to me was "we close in 30 minutes!". The last time I was in she made some bitchy remark after I spent $125 dollars there in 2 days. Every other visit (when she was there) has been similar. I would rather go somewhere that wants my business so I will be buying my yarn from Soft Horizons or on-line from now on.

Technically they were very helpful, but the saleswoman's demeanor was very cold and off-putting. She looked at me like I was crazy when I asked to try out a pair of needles.

Great shop with fantastic lighting and location. Easy parking, too.

When I made a point to thank proprietress for letting me use the ball winder (to wind yarn purchased at her store), she looked at me like I was a bother and with a scowl waved me off. The experience compelled me to turn to Soft Horizons as my Eugene yarn shop of choice.

I came to this store to see if I could learn how to knit when I was pregnant with my first child. While the yarns there are beautiful, the owner there is so incredibly rude, unpleasant and clearly annoyed that whenever I asked for her help (when she was sitting behind the counter) that I have gone in 10 times and walked out without ever buying anything. I wouldn't spend my money there. I have since bought ALL my yarn elsewhere. I just go in there to check out colors. Sad.
