This little store is a gem, and I don't know what I'd do without it. The proprietor is a genius, both of technical proficiency and creativity, and freely shares her knowledge and talent. She could be doing this for the stars, but instead stays in New Jersey helping us local knitters to make things we love and are proud of. Actually, every time I call after an absence, I'm worried to hear that maybe she's gone appointment-only, or moved on to design for the stars, but she's still there working her magic. 5 stars for her wonderful assistant, as well. It's a small, small place, so get there early. Though there are usually people waiting around before opening anyway. One of NJ's finest treasures and I'm grateful to have them.

This was the first real yarn store I ever went to. I was really amazed at the different types of yarn, and the owner is a really nice lady. VERY unique little store located in an old motel room.

I travel miles to Knit Kit and it's well worth the trip. Very helpful staff with a homey atmosphere. Lot's of help for those in need.I couldn't handle half of my knitting projects without the help and kind support I recieve at this wonderful place.

I'm sure the staff is great (they seemed very friendly), but the store is the most disorganized and cramped thing I have ever seen. I must say, though, the selection of yarns is very different from any other LYS I've been to.
