unbelievable selection and staff are extremely helpful and knowledgable. Tons of patterns to look at and the atmosphere is great!

Biggest yarn store I have been to, the seating area is ideal and the owner is young and excentric and always willing to help.

Best yarn shop I've been in. Huge selection and 'talented and fun staff' make this a great place to spend an afternoon.

By far the best Lys I have ever been in. Biggest selection and awesome owner and staff. A "must" Stop in west Van.

The selection is massive...it would be difficult for it to be anything but massive, since the store is so huge. There's an entire wall of sock yarn. Only a couple of things were missing prices, which is forgivable, again considering the sheer number of yarns they stock. The owner is great, as mentioned above...super-friendly, helpful, knowledgable, encouraging (esp. toward young knitters...she was helping a seven-year old pick out some yarn when we left), and a variety of other positive adjectives.

Very fun yarn store - large selection, creative, happy and friendly vibes. The owner is very knowledgeable and is always willing to help. Enjoyable place to spend an afternoon knitting.

A lovely store with great selection - as previous posters have mentioned. You can feel the passion for knitting! I personally find the store a little too disorganized however, with yarn stuffed into every nook and cranny in no discernable order. I end up feeling overwhelmed and so visit rarely.
