I visit OKC often and I always stop by this store. I love their yarn selection and everyone is friendly and kind. I've even taken a couple of day classes and the owner checked in on my project even after I returned home.

Great store! I was there this weekend and a sign in the window indicated they will be moving (no date given), but the new store will be near the current location, so watch for that.

I've visited a couple of times but never felt very welcome. It had a "clubby" vibe to it that doesn't work for me.

This is a great store! They have a wonderful selection of sock yarns (a whole wall!) as well as any other kind of yarn you could want, from premium alpaca to acrylic blends. Something for everybody. They also have a good selection of needles, notions and books. Next time I'm able to visit OKC, I will definitely make sure to visit The Gourmet Yarn Co. again.

The store has moved a few blocks away. They were on North May and have moved to West Britton... on the northwest corner of Britton and May in the shopping center there. They're still awesome and helpful as always!
