I really liked this shop as well, even though I didnt buy anything... I blew my allowance at Common Threads on some Tilli Tomas...but Black Sheep was worth the visit!

I visited the shop in mid-March and enjoyed it overall -- they had a great selection of Colinette yarns. HOWEVER, it was unsettling to find that there were no price stickers ON the yarns. Where there were signs, they were hard-to-find, leaving the customer to ask for prices on most everything.

Truly a destination store, if you live south of Encinitas and must brave the Interstate 5 North split. Gorgeous wood flooring and fixtures house the high-end yarns and spinning supplies.

Inspiring class samples & a drool-worthy selection of notions will tempt you to blow your yarn allowance for the entire year.

This is my hands down favorite yarn shop of all time. I come here every time I am in town. (And I frequently drag who ever is in town with me, so look out.)
