That Yarn Store in Eagle Rock

I visited one evening when it was incredibly hot, and the a/c wasn't helping at all. The shop is quite small and their selection of yarns seems very limited. The group that gathered for Martini night seemed to be having fun.

Very friendly atmosphere, but small, but quality collection. I don't recommend coming here if you're looking for yarn to make a sweater, but it's great for small projects, such as socks, hats or scarves. The staff is not pushy at all and are ready to help if you have questions. If you already know how to knit and want to learn fit or advanced knitting techniques, I don't recommend paying for a class here, as they don't seem to be very helpful.

Cramped, but pleasant environment. Friendly staff, but small selection of yarn. Call in advance to see if they have what you need.

I stop in when ever I'm in the area.

Super-friendly, but terribly sparse selection and a very tiny shop. :-( One of the staff mentioned that they were expecting an upcoming shipment, but I've never seen a LYS so poorly stocked. To their credit, there was a lunchtime group in there hanging out and they seemed rather friendly. There are also lots of classes scheduled, reasonably priced, including beginning spinning. Perhaps somewhere to learn and hangout.
