This is a new shop and they are working really hard to build up inventory. They carry lots of choices and have spinning supplies (I learnded to spin there last year)including wheels you can try out. Very helpful and friendly

Just wonderful! Fred is an absolute treasure and pure delight...and I love his hat... ;o). I just got home from TYF...I needed some locally spun yarn for a long distance yarn swap and they were, as always, extraordinarily helpful. If you've lived in the Valley all your life or are just passing through, please visit TYF.

I was treated like family the moment I walked in and they seem to be geniunely interested in what you're making and how they can help! Definately a keeper in my book. I'll be going back soon just to "hang out".

These guys are great. They have lots of beautiful yarns and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I especially like how they support local designers and yarn producers by carrying their products.

I visited the shop during a brief stay in Tempe while my husband was at a conference. I found a well-organized shop with a nice selection and helpful staff. I even had the chance to stay and knit a while with folks gathered for an evening sit-n-knit. Lovely and friendly group. Highly recommended.

I started knitting in January of this year. After some false starts on my own, I took a beginning knitting class at Tempe Yarn with Bev. She was great -- very patient, able to explain things so that I could understand, funny. She's become a good friend and is always there -- along with the other terrific folks at Tempe Yarn -- to help me get out of a bind. Fred always provides comic relief. The shops has a homey feeling and an excellent selection of yarns. It's not the biggest shop around, but it has the most heart.

I had the chance to seek out a few yarn shops while visiting from out of state and Tempe Yarn and Fiber was a joy to find! What impressed me was the well displayed merchandise, the gorgeous collection of locally made glass buttons and the creativity of the classes they offer. The staff was friendly and helpful. I wish I lived nearby to regularly experience all that this shop has to offer!
