Nice store, but not very friendly...am glad there are finally other choices in area!

Atmosphere is very stuffy not very friendly or helpful. I was able to browse the entire store without being asked if I needed help.

Staff is not very friendly or helpful. If you new to knitting and need help this is not the place to go unless you come in and pay for it. Staff is more interested in knitting on their personal projects than helping customers. Nice selection of yarn but you can find that online.

This is a grest shop! Tons of yarn and alot of new brands and types not seen at other shops. They are exclusive on may yarns like Malabrigo and Maggie Knits. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. They let me browse but are available for questions. This is my favorite local yarn shop in the area!

I am so glad to have been introduced to this yarn shop. The staff was very helpful in assisting me to pick out my holiday project. It was so cool to see the projects that they were knitting on. It truly motivated me to begin. They shared with me the classes that will start in January. I can hardly wait.

I think this shop has an excellent variety of knitting products as well as needlework supplies. On some occasions, I have been assisted right away and a few times, I have not had anyone approach me for quite a while. Overall, though, I've had a good experience with this shop and always enjoy stopping there when I am in town.

Great selection, friendly & helpful staff, lots of classes . . . this is a great shop! They offer a wide variety of yarns, notions, needles and patterns. They have a wonderful selection of books as well. The more you stop in, the more it feels like a second home.

I've been in several times. Most times I was greeted with a friendly hello when I walked in the door, a couple times I wandered around without anyone approaching me, but it was apparent that they were busy helping others.
Like the selection of yarns, very nice quality. And really enjoyed their Stash Sale a couple months ago - anyone could sell from their stash, and a percentage of the proceeds went to four charities.

This shop is well-stocked; however, sometimes I find the bins to be stuffed so full it is difficult to grab skeins of yarn without them spilling out. Definitely browser friendly. It is not my LYS, so I can't comment on whether or not there is help when you need it. I stop in when I am in my hometown because of the nice selection of commercial yarns.

I have been several times and have always had a very good experience. Agree with others about the store being browser friendly. Already have plans to return soon.
The store has an a very nice selection of yarns and notions. Bought my first pair of addi turbo needles there after speaking with a helpful staff member and they were perfect for my project. I have picked up some interesting sale yarns for quick fun projects.

Visited this store the end of April. Everyone was very friendly, lots of great yarn to choose from. Will definitly take a road trip there again.

Another crappy experience...I would rather spend my money at Walmart...I HATE Walmart!

After moving to the area last year, this has become my LYS of choice. Others are closer, but I enjoy the selection here. I am always acknowledged when entering the store, but not necessarily offered help right away. That is fine by me though, because I am more of a browser. In fact, it annoys me when a shop checks on me too much. For me a LYS is an experience and I like to wander on my own, exploring my options. I don't like it when staff hovers over me; I feel rushed. Whenever I have asked for help, they were friendly and knowledgeable. They have great hours for those of us working full time!

I wasn't immediately greeted by someone in the store, but at least it happened within the first five minutes. The woman who did eventually greet me was willing to point me in the right direction for how the store was organized.
I asked her if the selection of yarn that was in the front entrance way was clearance yarn, and she said yes. I explained to her that I wasn't sure, since it wasn't clearly marked. She told me, "It should be marked on each skein with a red marker." (Me) "Well, as someone who hasn't been in the store before, it wasn't clearly marked for me to know." "Well, *obviously* you haven't been in this store before!" I thought that was rude.
After having some yarn in my hand that I intended to purchase, they were nice enough with some advice as far as how much I might need for a project.
The store itself is rather large, and is stuffed with a lot of stock. I'm sure it would be nice to spend some more time here, if the people were a little less snooty.
