I want to like this shop more than I actually do. The woman who owns it can be very helpful for finding yarns, and the yarn she does carry is always beautiful. But I'm never able to find what I want if I'm looking for something specific (it is a pretty small place). It's open whenever I try to go by, and it's nice to look around there, but I can't see myself hanging out to knit there.

A pity about the snotty attitude; a little more friendliness is required. Remember, knitting is not some exclusive pastime - our grandmothers and mothers used to do it as a matter of course. Lighten up and be friendly. I will not be going back there unless I'm absolutely stuck for yarn!
