Pretty, pretty, pretty.
Tons of Danish designers, including the owner herself. The colours are beautiful and the cashmere divine.
There's a reason why the queen shops here.

Wonderful shop! I found it on Knitmap, then visited it when I was recently in Copenhagen. Great yarns, helpful staff. Good selection of unusual & country-specific (i.e., Danish) yarns.

I've been to every yarn store in Copenhagen, Lund and Malmo that I could find on KnitMap (and that was open - a couple were closed for summer vacation) and this one is by far the best! Best selection, lovely person running the store, and a bonus: great button selection! There were more North American yarns by far than any other store (over 30 skeins of HandMaiden Casbah, for example), as well as Danish yarns. Very little acrylic, but a bit if that's what you want. No Opal that I saw at least, which I found easily elsewhere, but quite a bit of other sock yarn (lots of Regia). Danish prices are definitely higher than Swedish at the current exchange rate, but the prices in this store seemed standard for Denmark. I would gladly return to this store again and again.

This is one of the nicest shops I've seen. The staff is wonderful and the selection of yarn, patterns, books, etc is great. I couldn't pack everything I bought so they were more than helpful in having everything sent to me in Canada. I was prepared to wait for weeks and weeks, but my parcel arrived in good order a week after I returned home. I would travel to Copenhagen just to visit this shop.

What a fabulous store - an Art gallery/museum/Aladdin's Cave for knitters! This was the first time I had seen so many finished sweaters, hats and scarves where previously I had only seen pictures, and yarns that I had only seen on web sites. Many kits and finished articles from Danish knitwear designer Hanne Falkenberg, Rowan magazines (again, I have rarely seen these before), many new books, gorgeous scarf pins, tons of buttons. I wandered around in a daze petting the merchandise while my husband and son went off for lunch. Very helpful staff who left me alone until I asked, and they speak excellent English. Luckily for me and my credit card I was so overwhelmed that I only bought one scarf pin and a Rowan magazine from Summer 2006 , who cares, it's still gorgeous, and I am probably never going to make anything from it anyway, I just drool over the pictures! Quite expensive, but so is everything else in Scandinavia, compared to North America. Definitely a destination store.

A great store - loads of selection of top-notch yarns that I have not seen in Canadian or U.S. shops, and helpful friendly owners with a "you can do it (even though the pattern is in Danish) attitude"! It was hard to chose, but I did come away with linen yarn and linen/cotton blend yarn from Swedish yarn companies, and yes, a Danish pattern!. I completely agree with cblacher's comments (above). Go find this store - you will not be disappointed.
