It's hard to explain why I didn't give higher marks to this store. It's beautiful, but I've had problems at least half the times I've gone in. It was the first LYS I ever stepped foot in; I was going to be taking private knitting lessons and needed a ball of yarn and a pair of needles, but couldn't get waited on to save my life. My husband, who waited just inside the front door, still refers to it as "that snooty store, where they wouldn't wait on you." I gave it another chance after I learned how to knit, but my experiences have been really hit or miss. After I found other stores to shop at, this became the one I hit only if I was driving by or meeting a friend (because it's equidistant between our homes).

I love this little yarn shop! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been taking knitting lessons for the past year and look forward to going there. I would recommend this yarn shop to anyone who is interested in knitting.

This store has gotten better this past year. Great atmosphere, great teaching staff, great selection of all prices yarn. You feel free to browse as long as you wish and and expert is always there to help.

This cozy little shop has gotten better this past year. They have great yarn (all price ranges), a super teaching staff and many friendly experts to help answer all your quetions. You can spend as much time as you please without ever feeling rushed. I love this homey little shop.

WOW! This store has definitely changed over the past year! Everyone is friendly and welcoming, ready to help whenever you need them. I browsed for quite a long time and they even offered me a bottle of water. The teachers are the best around, and the selection can't be beat. I hope anyone who had a negative experience will give it another try - it's worth it!

If 3 of the 4 comments didn't have the same message (wow, the store has really changed) it be a little more believable. And they all sound like ads.

I see the store has changed hands since the first of the year - one of the instructors bought it. Might give it another try.

Lori is a GREAT teacher! Staff and other customers are friendly and welcoming . . .I've taken classes and workshops and learned a lot.

I'm really impressed with the things the new owners are doing with this shop. The shop is very well-stocked, well-lit, friendly, exciting, and they have tons of events going on all the time. Their overall look and feel is completely different from what it used to be. I hope everyone will give them another chance... They carry exquisite yarns, and tons of fun extras. I love the Namaste bags! I've taken classes there for a while, but only stayed because I liked my instructor. Now I stay because I love being there.

LOVE THIS SHOP! Everyone is friendly, well informed, very helpful and I love the atmosphere. There is something for everyones needs. The previous owner was super and the knew is super. I haven't noticed a customer that was snooty, however, if the customers seem snooty, which I didn't notice I overlook that and the important this is that the staff isn't and the staff is there to help and care for my needs and they do. As a matter for fact they go above and beyond to help. Who could ask for anything more. The stock is reasonable and and comparable so are the luxury years. I give this shop five stars plus.
