Excellent friendly knitting shop.

Tiny but full of nice yarn, mostly well known brands like Noro and Debbie Bliss. It's a friendly shop but it seems to be a little surprised that it exists, and reluctant to be known outside of Herne Hill.

yes, but without those of us 'outside' herne hill, it might not get enough business....
seriously, i thought you'd shout it out to make sure it doesn't close down!

This is my favourite shop - it even knocked John Lewis off its perch! The owner, Susan, is so knowledgeable and helpful to everyone - from beginner to very experienced. She can advise on yarn and patterns. A fabulous range of yarns and great colours.

This is a great shop. It is tiny, but the owners are incredibly friendly and helpful and there is yarn stashed away everywhere. If I've not found exactly what I am looking for they have helped me choose something else or even recommended an entirely different pattern and yarn. The only problem is that because its only open three days a week it can be quite crowded and busy. But worth popping in anyway and hanging around to read their excellent selection of knitting books. Or even stopping and doing some in-store knitting.

Awesome shop! So friendly. It is tiny but they have a great selection and by Spring should be in their new (much bigger) shop down the road.
I had a couple of patterns and needed help choosing wool and they were really helpful and knowledgeable. I'll definitley be going back on a regular basis.
It's also really easy to get to from London Victoria, two stops on the train to Herne Hill.
