I have been shopping here for loadsa years but usually by mail order. The staff are great and very helpful and will fill out my order just by reference to the page in the (usually) Rowan magazine - my bookshelf is heaving with them! Can't comment on the atmosphere (do I hear a song coming on - Can it be Russ Abbott?!) as I have only visited it a couple of times.

A super shop with helpful staff and a lovely homely atmosphere

Lots of lovely stock and books, but do feel the staff were a little jumpy when i brought my children and husband with me. Perhaps stores ought to remember that there is such a thing as family these days, and that there isn't a "typical" knitter. That aside, it is smashing.
