This shop has a lot of potential! The staff is incredibly friendly. They had a good stock of different yarns and weights in a variety of colors, making it easy to go in and be able to knit a large project.

What a great shop! Beautiful yarn, beautifully merchandised, and prices easy to see and find! Great variety of yarns, and a very friendly owner. I look forward to visiting this shop every time I have the opportunity to drive to Flagstaff.

Purl in the Pines is a wonderful knitting store. I've traveled to many shops throughout the country and find Michele's to be one of the best. Not only is the owner helpful but the variety of yarns, patterns and notions are plentiful. I love going there and just seeing what's new and checking out the different classes that are being offered by experienced knitters. I am glad to have such a great resource available to addicts like myself.

I love this shop! The selection is fantastic and everyone is very knowledgable and helpful. Especially nice for a person just jumping back into crochet work after a random weaving class with my daughter at the library. I am allergic to wool so the large selection of alternative yarns is also a very big plus for me.

VERY DISAPPOINTED when I tried to return an unused ball of crochet thread. I found it was the wrong color for my project and they had no other options. I was advised that they WOULD NOT DO REFUNDS, ONLY EXCHANGES. Hmmm. Since there was nothing else that would work, what was I supposed to do; buy something else that wouldn't work? VERY DISAPPOINTED in a local company that has such poor customer service policy. I understand that they are a small company "just trying to make it." So are the customers. I am telling everyone I know. Can't wait for JoAnn's to reopen.

Visited the shop while in Flagstaff on vacation. VERY nice shop, very friendly owner. The shop was good size, bigger than some in my own area. They have a great selection of yarn, various makers and plenty of same dye lot to do large project. Great supply of needles, supplies and crochet supplies. Tons of pattern books you could spend hours looking at.
Definitely will go there again when in the area visiting family.
