As stated above if local is what you want you will find it here at Puffy. This is a very eclectic store in historical downtown Nampa. Various crafts are represented in the store and the staff is energetic and warm. Fuzz!! is the spinning store in Boise but Puffy is THE spinning store of the Treasure Valley! If you spin, you must get to Puffy... this is also the only place currently carrying felting supplies. Sign up for the newsletter and join Puffy's group on Ravelry... great coupons!

I recently visited this shop as two other fine shops in the valley have gone out of business. This is a nice little shop but doesn't carry much yarn if you are looking for yarn specifically. They had quite a bit of Cascade and a few other brands. However, if you are looking for Mountain Colors, Plymouth Yarns, Cherry Tree Hill and other mid- to high end specialty and/or hand-dyed yarns, you will not find it here. Perhaps one day I'll learn to spin so I can enjoy this shop more.

Don't go off the location on the map, but in the description. Also, Tulip is incorrect on what yarns are carried. Cascade is not a line that is in the shop. Keren has a lot of Brown sheep and Berroco along with others. There's a lot of fiber for spinners and she sells and fixes wheels as well. It's like no other yarn store you've ever seen.

Hi - A few weeks ago I brought in an egg-carton filled with small ocarinas. You did the preliminary firing and are holding them until I can bring my young girls group into the store to paint them before the finish firing. However, I have found it extremely difficult to find transportation to bring the girls in. Is there any way I could take four containers of paint to the place where we meet, let them paint there, and return the paints and ocarinas to you? I have my receipt and I am willing to pay a little more for this privilege. This is very important to us and becoming a matter of urgency. Please reply soon. My phone is 208 463-2801 or use the e-mail above. Thank you so much.
