This is my LYS and a great little store! Nice selection of quality yarns and patterns with good, knowledgeable staff.

Fine selection, friendly staff, accessible by local transit. Few other attractions in the area.

oh my god are these people snobs! if you aren't middle aged and carrying a black amex they don't want to know you.

Not very friendly .(and I am middle aged) They do have a nice selection of yarns. Unfortunately only go there as last resort.

Really disappointed. Walked in today, took both staff members 5 minutes to acknowledge and say hello. Too busy with materials and storing them.
I changed my wool selection from the recommendation and there was no chit chat, no niceties, no mentioning of their classes which I discovered on the way out.
So sad since this is a good location in town. I would drive to other stores in GTA.

Since the new owner took over last fall, I found their customer service has improved greatly. There is a whole different, much friendlier atmosphere in there now. They still have a great selection of yarns. They are also open for 'Knit Night" now.

My daughter (aged 11) loves this store as they're very friendly and helpful in finding her manageable projects and patterns suitable for her skill level. Very nice yarns here.

I happened to make the trek up here on Monday; as it turns out they are closed Mondays.
As I stood on the sidewalk checking out the hours on the closed sign, I could see people inside the store. One of them made a point of walking to the front and locking the door-- while I stood there. No "sorry," and no attempt to spend a few seconds to actually say something.
It didn't seem friendly at all. I won't bother going back.
