Love this store! They are friendly and the carriage house is full of nooks and crannies holding lovely treasures.

I drove up for a visit while vacationing in Boulder. The carriage house location is quite charming. The entry level is a bit unappealing, but the upstairs is lovely. A nice selection of quality yarns and very nice, genuinely friendly staff. I would not hesitate to drive up there again when in the area.

Very nice selection of both basic and luxury yarn. Helpful and friendly staff. There is a small table to sit and knit and some patio space for nice weather. Overall, a small but nice shop.

Wonderful little shop... I was so impressed. Everyone was friendly and helpful and they had such a beautiful selection of yarn. I wish I was local because it is easily one of my all-time favorite yarn shops!

I've e-mailed regarding Haindmaiden Yarns Sea Silk. I'd be interested in purchasing if someone would let me know how much it is per skein. I'm intersted in the color "Ocean".
Thank you, Sandy Bishop

Visited this shop again two weeks ago and lucked into a sale. Snagged a gorgeous skein of Handmaiden Sea Silk and a couple other goodies. Very charming place and everyone is so nice and helpful. Great yarn selection!

The shop is not so much small as it is full of stuff with a low ceiling. The downstairs is filled with the workhorse yarns, like what seems to be every color of Cascade 220 ever made. Upstairs has dormers which open to reveal all the novelty and specialty yarns.
It is a crowded place and hard to get around if it is busy. The back of the upstairs is a little dark for viewing yarn. I have had mixed experiences with service, once waiting a long time while both staff discussed yardage for hats with a customer and neither offered to ring up my two-skein purchase while they talked. Usually the staff asks if you need anything right away and then pretty much leaves you alone (not pushy or hovering).
Great selection of yarns as well, they carry some of the more rare yarns.
UPDATE: They have moved the register downstairs and reorganized. The new set up is much more open and inviting. They still have a great selection, and there is a large table downstairs where knitters often hang out.

I was disappointed with this store. I was in the store for 30 minutes and was never greeted or offered help. There were only two other customers in the store at the time. Lighting is poor to make color decisions. I live within half an hour of the store and will not return. There are other stores that are more welcoming.
