Joanne, the owner of this lovely shop, taught a beginner's knitting class years ago, so I guess I can blame her for my passion. She stocks what she likes to use - Dale of Norway, Cascade, Debbie Bliss - but always is on hand to help you out if you are looking for a substitution. The "Pearls" bit of the name fits in with her other passion - beading.

A wonderful store: light, bright, welcoming, filled with great yarns, patterns, beads, buttons--everything you need (or want!) Joanne is very warm and welcoming, can help three people at once without being frantic or anyone feeling put off (must be all those years of classroom teaching!). I just wish I lived closer so I could stop in once a week.
