They have a very good selection of yarns. The store is a bite crowded and there is no room to look at books.

The proprio are nice, available, they know very well their stuff and give good advices. They have often discount on their very large yarn variety. I love that place.

I was like a kid in a candy store! They have a very good selection, and really good prices. I really appreciated the help and advice from the owner and her sales girl. I can't wait to go again!

I keep returning, and finding myself somehow disappointed by the store. The staff are fine, though not quite as personable as some other places, but they're all polite and know what they're talking about. They carry many of the nicest brands, such as Malabrigo, Punta, and Berrocco, as well as many many more.
I think perhaps my biggest problem with them is simply that they don't carry a single yarn that is unique to them (I travel between Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal quite frequently, so do a lot of yarn tourism!) While I do expect most of one's stock to overlap with other stores, since there are only so many suppliers in Canada, I also like to be able to find one or two yarns that are special to just the store, or at the very least the city. (Tanis Fibre Arts which is the closest they carry to that can be found in multiple other stores, and I own a ton of it!)

I loved the selection and the prices. Had a lovely conversation with the proprietor about what was "hot" in Montreal right now.

I visited last September, and was quite disappointed. I had heard good things about the store, and was there about 10 minutes before it opened.
The store opened right on time, and I went in. I wasn't greeted at all, and was completely ignored for the entire time I was there. Despite having picked out a nice haul of yarns, I put them all back after waiting for what seemed an age with still nobody acknowledging me.
I don't like to be pestered and fawned over when I'm shopping, but I do like to, at least, be acknowledged by the staff.

I traveled to Montreal recently and was so excited to visit a Canadian yarn store. Unfortunately, it was a less than perfect experience. We were basically ignored by the staff, a man and two young women. The man was haranguing the women about stocking the bins and just complaining in general. He was really quite unpleasant. It is not a large store and I felt very uncomfortable listening to him. I do not ask for a lot of attention from staff while I am browsing, but I do like to be greeted. Also I expect a yarn store to be a haven from the outside world and not the domain of crabby people.
The store is amply stocked. I made some nice selections and received adequate service from one of the young ladies. She was not particularly friendly but I felt sorry for her having to work with that guy all day.
