Sue is the best yarn shop owner ever and the atmosphere in her shop is so wonderful. They were just recently voted "Best Knitting Shop" by Baltimore Magazine. Definitely worth checking out!

I love this place. She has a really beautiful selection of yarns that aren't too expensive. And the mother bear project is so cute!

I love this store! Sue is super friendly and the yarn is gorgeous. Its a very welcoming shop where you just want plop on the couch to sit and knit.

I adore this store! The people are all super friendly, the colors are wonderful, and the yarn is so yummy. Sue has a great selection and great prices, and I always feel cozy when I'm there. Love.

After moving to Maryland, it was frustrating not being able to find a truly open, warm, loving yarn shop - so many seemed stuffy and uninviting. Then a total stranger watching me knit in a bookstore struck up a conversation with me and told me about this' amazing new yarn store in Hampden'. I was there that weekend and never left! Other yarn stores take note: Sue caters to the 'working women/man knitter' by being open on SAturday and Sunday and classes are on the weekends, NOT on a Thursday at 1:00 in the afternoon... HELLO,,,, we all work these days.

This is such a great yarn shop! Good selection and atmosphere. The owner's really cool; there was this coupon the store newsletter sent out that I wasn't able to print so I emailed Sue and she sent me another one!

Just visited Lovelyarns for the first time recently, and I fell in love. As I'll be moving back to the area soon, I know this will end up being my favourite yarn shop - it's just so warm and inviting and stocked with great things!
