They were the first store to use that space, and they have painted and decorated with a random and bright colors type of theme. They opened on March 2009, and so are taking thier time setting up stock. They hope to offer spinning classes in thier second year, but for now just have a few basic classes offered. Very friendly staff, who is willing to work harder to help you. Very creative with plenty of suggestions if you show intrest in a yarn or project. Thier selection is mostly some high end name brands, and artsy yarns with a few basic low cost workhorse type yarns added in. They welcome children, but I recommend giving yourself plenty of time at first as there is alot to see!
Update 2011- This place now holds even more yarn if such a thing were possible. You cant see across the store anymore. Small amount of spinning fiber and needle felting kits.

Goodness me!
Had a yard sale today in White Bear Lake and several customers could not stop talking about this place. Several of us put down our treasured objects and pricked up our ears. It sounds divine.
Definitely on my must do list before the summer is out. So much for my yard sale profits!

I'm back! And it was everything they said it was and more! Kirsten is super helpful and full of fun. Product line is fabulous -- needles, yarns and notions are all yummy. Will make a return visit very soon to catch all the stuff I missed while distracted by Mom last week.

I was in your shop with a knitting group about noon today I was trying some circular needles out on my socks and when I removed my Berkalin double pointed needles to try out the circular I either dropped one or I had slipped my needles into the package while I tried the circular one out I was trying out 11 or 12 inch size four of the less expensive ones I ended up buying two different sizes but may have left one of my needles in the package or dropped it where I was sitting. I was in the main room in right corner rocker May have set it on the ottoman
It was one of my families old needles and has sentimental value so would so appreciate your efforts You can reach me by email or my cell phone is 6129401953
Thank you so much for your time

Wow! I had heard great things about this place, but you truly cannot imagine how neat and refreshing it really is, until you walk through the door. The first thing that happened was I greeted with a huge "hello and is this your first time here?" followed by great conversation and laughs. I was given the yarn tour and was simply amazed at how marvelous the decor is. I instantly felt comfortable and wanted to sit right down and whip out my needles and finish those socks I was toting around.
The yarn selection is very comprehensive and the color is outstanding. I could tell that help is readily, happily available. This is now in my top 2 yarn stores. I will grab a cup of coffee from the Coffee Cottage next door and have a seat to finish my socks.
You have to check this one out. The people, the goods, the atmosphere...it doesn't get any better than this! You have to get there as soon as you can!
