The worst knit shop in Southern CA, overcharge for yarn, they purport to make patterns for you, but they can't get it right. They never fit. They do not refund your money only give you credit so you have continue to come back. They are rude and dishonest

Hi- I received the thick baby purple alpaca today, thank you! Tell Pam, it's beautiful. Let me know about the club I joined, when the next print pattern and yarn is available. Linda Ross

L'Atelier. I love this store! They have very nice yarns and they are always welcoming and helpful. Always telling me how talented I am when it's they who have helped me get thru my project. Sometimes they're super busy and I have to wait then I get in trouble finding more yarn to buy. They are a small company, one of those owner run stores so I understand why they don't give refunds - most boutiques have the same policy. I don't make a lot of sweaters but I've been successful making purses, hats, and scarves. My friend Jeanne does make a lot of sweaters there and has been very successful with their patterns. Knitting is an art, not a science...sometimes you have to rip and retry. Sometimes we don't follow directions correctly. All part of the creative process. Anyway, I love going there and always find it inspirational.
