First of all. This is Edith Eig's shop. She was very friendly when I stopped in. Her husband was running the cash register. For someone with such notoriety, she seemed very down to earth and interested in what I was working on. There's a small space where you can sit and knit and celeb watch. (this is the Yarn shop of the Stars). There are many price-points to fit anyone's budget (or blow it if you'd like). I found many yarn brands that I have not seen anywhere else in my travels and some old familiar names like Artyarns. I don't remember seeing any price tags on any of the yarns.. i suppose if you have to ask.... however, at the register I found that the prices were comparable to other stores I'd shopped at. I would definately say this is a must see place, go in, buy her book(s) Mother of Purl, she's more than happy to inscribe it for you as well.

I enjoy my visits to this yarn store. Edith and her husband are lovely people who are friendly and welcoming. I am originally from Europe and love the extensive selection of German, French and Italian yarns that other stores do not carry. The store has more selection than any other store that I have ever visited. Also, the prices are much lower than at other stores.

Visited this store a year ago and loved it. The amount of yarn they stock is mind-boggling - so much to choose from! Prices are reasonable - staff is helpful. Can't wait to visit again!
