They probably have a greater yarn selection now, than ever. The majority of it is their own yarn, but they do carry some Dream In Color, Trekking, Cherry Tree Hill. The remodel on the shop is very nice, too. Negatives for me are - still searching for prices on half the things I pick up, especially the other brand yarns, having yarns not well organized - the Dream In Color is in a bin and then on the wall across the room - and most important, when I had to ask for prices, the woman started adding the yarns I was pricing to my checkout???? I wanted prices - I wasn't necessarily buying all the yarn they didn't price. A bit off putting.

Bring back the old Kraemer's! While I agree that the renovations are nice, I still wish they would carry a bigger selection of non-Kraemer yarns (i.e. Plymouth).

I disagree with the 2 stars for service. If I'm buying yarn there they make sure that I have all the same dye lot, and if I don't they'll go and open a new bag. I think that's great, plus they never turned their noses up at my toddler like at another yarn store in the area.
They have people sitting around knitting every time I go in but they're always nice and give me help when needed.
I agree that the pricing system is more than annoying, but I think this place is great and deserves more than 2 stars overall.

I am mostly happy with the service at Kramers. The girls are not snooty and my favorite is a young girl named Stephanie. I do wish they had more yarn to offer but in todays economy one has to do what is best to stay in business. One clerk that I did not connect with actually ended up gaining my respect during my last visit by going above and beyond to help me. I like going into the old building, the store itself isn't memorable but the girls I see clustered often around the tables are and isn't that what it is all about.
